Amanda introduced me to yoga before the pandemic, and I’ve been attending her weekly classes regularly for over three and a half years. What stands out most in her teaching is the deep understanding of how the body works. She pays close attention to what may seem like small, insignificant details — but these subtle cues make a huge difference to posture, muscle engagement, and the overall effect on the body.
Amanda treats the body as an integrated, self-regulating system that needs care, awareness, and gentle adjustment. Through her extensive knowledge, intuition, observation, and attention to detail, she has an incredible ability to “read” the body — responding to its signals and making the smallest yet most meaningful adjustments. I see this as her natural gift, refined by years of practice, study, and a genuine passion for what she does.
She is never idle or resting on past achievements. Always evolving, Amanda brings fresh insight and energy to every class. No two sessions are ever the same — she’s constantly learning, exploring, and implementing new ideas. I’m always learning from her, and I consider myself very lucky to have her not only as my yoga teacher, but as a presence in my life.

I have been doing yoga for over 30 years and have had a few different teachers during that time. Mandy’s skill as a teacher is phenomenal. She has huge knowledge and an innate perception of the body which allows her to help each of her students individually. She shows how the smallest and most subtle adjustments can change the feel of the positions, helping you move your own body with more confidence and achieve a balance which you had thought wasn’t possible.
Mandy’s classes are full lightness, humour and fun.

I’ve dipped in and out of yoga classes over the years, never quite finding a lasting connection. After a traumatic birth, a neighbour encouraged me to try a local class — and that’s when I met Mandy. This experience was unlike any other. There was no pressure to perform or "achieve" postures — just gentle guidance, breath, and presence. To an outsider, it may have looked like we were doing very little, but for me, it was deeply healing.
Lying over a back arch for the first time was terrifying. Having suffered a prolapse, I had completely disconnected from my pelvis and pelvic floor — a response to trauma. Mandy held space for me with such care and compassion that I felt safe enough to let go. Tears came, but so did strength. Her classes helped me reconnect with my body, release pain, and begin to heal from the inside out.
Working with Mandy has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. She offers yoga in its most simple, authentic, and powerful form. I trusted her with my vulnerability, and I recommend her wholeheartedly — whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi seeking something deeper. She meets you where you are, and gently helps you discover the rest.

She always senses how we are feeling and adapts the class accordingly, she is so attentive and ensures that everyone is getting the postures right and getting all the benefits from the practice. I have been practicing yoga with Mandy for a few years - she is INCREDIBLE. Mandy is such a fantastic teacher because she listens to everyone's issues and niggles and will adapt a class around it on the spot. We have also had pregnant women in the class and she is always able to modify movements to suit them. Her practice is very inclusive and non-judgmental. I am a runner and very inflexible. I was nervous about starting yoga because I felt embarrassed about my limited range of movement, but I have never felt uncomfortable in Mandy's class. I find that with Mandy's regular classes I get stronger, and less injury prone. Mandy's classes are often tough, but achievable and very rewarding. Amanda is such a fantastic yoga teacher. Whether you arrive to her class in pain, for exercise or for a bit of an emotional lift, she caters for it all. I didn’t realise what a positive impact yoga would have on my happiness, calming stress levels and general health and wellbeing until I joined Amanda’s classes. She is kind, empathetic and very inclusive to ensure everyone feels welcome and relaxed in her class. I had the pleasure of learning yoga with Mandy for a couple of years, where I was introduced to many new postures. My confidence really grew with Mandy's eloquent direction and supportive teaching style. I remember when I first started using a back-arch block and I was like "noooope, not happening!", as my chest and shoulders were so tight. It was amazing to gently explore this and discover my own areas of tension and holding, and then feel progress happening, allowing and letting go. A lot of what Mandy brought to the class carried over to my day to day off the yoga mat too, as there were subtle but deep observations that she shared in each lesson that often really resonated with me.
